These sites are usually available in green spaces, deserts, roads, streets and etc. This site are used in a time that there is not any suitable building for installing the site around, or, there is enough space around. The cost of building Green Field sites is usually higher than the Roof Top sites because of the taller tower with higher capacity. In Green Filed sites, fences are installed to protect the sites while in Roof Top sites, there is not any need for installing fences and other security equipment because of its limited access

This refers to sites that all equipments are installed on the roof of the building. This site is usually used in populated residential areas. The cost of building a roof top site is less than a green filed site and therefore, operators are more willing to build and use these sites. But, it has its own problems. First of all, all buildings do not have the ability to support roof top sites. Second, beautifying points of the city should be considered in a way that it does not damage the landscape of the city and be identical to surrounding buildings and environment

3.      In-Building sites

These sites are among the private sites and usually installed in buildings with high population and poor signal coverage inside at the request of building owners. In this type of site, all equipments and facilities are placed inside the building and some components of this site is totally different from outdoor sites.
